Give-All Grown Up, Inc.

All Grown Up is an organization that provides mentor and character education services for teen and pre-teen females. Founded in 1999 by Tangi Williams and Shari Ponder, two former Georgia Public School Guidance Counselors who were inspired to create AGU after hearing horror stories about young ladies and sex. They realized that these girls needed education and mentoring so they would have the knowledge to protect themselves.

AGU runs an after school character development program for girls in the 6-8th grade that is held at several middle schools in Clayton County, Georgia. They also have the Savvy Saturday Academy, which services young ladies in the 6-12th grade from Clayton and Henry County public schools and works on financial fortitude, etiquette, and character development.

Support this organization in it’s mission to to positively impact the community by breaking the cycles of poverty and increasing self esteem through health, social, educational, vocational, and financial literacy workshops that empower the development of  teen and pre-teen females. Visit www.aguinc.org to get more information about AGU and learn how you can help.

Chocolate Pink Productions and the TWS Agency is hosting a philanthropic fashion event called FashionGLAM on September 18, 2010 at the Millennium Gate Museum at Atlantic Station in Atlanta, GA. There will be shopping, pampering and makeovers all with a fabulous fashion backdrop. A portion of the proceeds from the FashionGLAM event will benefit AGU. If you’re going to be in Atlanta September 18, visit www.fashionglamevents.com to get your tickets.
