Meredith Keller is the co-founder of Ex-Boyfriend, a clothing and accessory company based in Baltimore, Maryland. Meredith co-founded the company with her husband, Matt, an illustrator/graphic designer. The company produces graphic tees, hoodies, bags and other fun wearables and accessories for men, women, kids and babies. Their designs are influenced by pop culture, nature, urban living and contemporary art. Meredith and Matt are avid animal lovers and frequently blog about funny animal videos and their adventures in fostering homeless kitties for their local SPCA. The company also donates a portion of its revenue to animal rescues. When Meredith’s not hard at work or hanging out with kitties, you can find her dabbling in mixology and of course shopping online for shoes. FG: Who is the designer/What is the brand of the stiletto you submitted and where (i.e.
Macy’s etc…) did you purchase your shoes?
MK: They were Michael Kors, which I ordered from zappos.com
FG: Is there a story behind them (why did you purchase them)?
MK: I love red shoes. I tend to look best in white and off-white, and red is a great accent color for neutral stuff. It’s hard to find a pretty pair of red heels that aren’t torture to wear. I ordered about 15 different pairs of red heels from zappos.com to try on and finally settled on this pair. They were the most comfortable and looked the best with my clothing.
