Shoe Queen- Jessica Murrell
This week’s Shoe Queen is Jessica Murrell, she is the owner and operator of Lango Kids RTP. They teach children French, Mandarin and Spanish between the ages of 18 month and 11 years old. At the core of the classes are “challenges” that students complete in order to experience new vocabulary and grammar through movement, playacting, art and basic conversation. Initially, these challenges are quite simple, but as students are able to grasp more complex exercises, they begin to gain confidence and become proud of their growing knowledge. FG: Who is the designer/What is the brand of the stiletto you submitted and where did you purchase your shoes?
JM: The designer of the camel pair of shoes is Charles David. I purchased them at Soho shoes located in Raleigh, NC and the pink pair of shoes are by Badgley Mischka and they were purchased at Nordstrom.
FG: Is there a story behind them (why did you purchase them)?
JM: Of course there is a story behind why I purchased them, isn’t there always a story behind the LOVE of shoes. The Charles David pair were purchased b.c I received my check from one of my newest accounts where I hold Lango class there five days a week. They were very pleased with my service and asked us to return. Besides screaming, jumping up and down and thanking God, I celebrated with a great pair of shoes. The second pair were purchased for me to use in my wedding. Since I am a new business owner, I decided not to spend money on a wedding, but instead grow my business, however I knew I had to feel good that day, so a pretty pair of shoes I knew would help me with that.

JM: You would experience the difficulties and joys of owning a business, but you sure as HECK would feel comfortable and look AMAZING!!
