Shoe Queen- Jill Mikols Etesse

Her nickname in college was “shoedog”, she has quite an expensive shoe habit and feels like the 39 year old lady who lived in a shoe (or pair of!)  Unfortunately she may also be known as a shoe snob, she likes the good ones that last forever- a great pair can take you though a decade.  She has more colorful, fashion forward ones of course but the shoes below “go to” always when traveling or business or even to dinner with a great top and pair of jeans! She writes a fashion blog called JacketsandJill, openly admitting her shoe fetish and she’s the co founder of  her own company SmartyShortz LLC, where they create apps for children and other companies! FG: Who is the designer/What is the brand of the stiletto you submitted and where did you purchase your shoes?

JE: Jimmy Choo’s, they “choo-se” you!  Picked these classic pumps up at the Jimmy Choo Boutique in Las Vegas.

FG: Is there a story behind them (why did you purchase them)?

JE: I was eating dinner across from the Jimmy Choo store at the Wynn and couldn’t even concentrate on dinner conversation as I kept staring at these shoes in the window and thinking, those shoes need me!  Excused my self to go to the ladies room, came back with the shoes and enjoyed the rest of my fabulous dinner!

JE: like singing_”I am woman, hear me roar!”

FG: If we could walk a mile in your shoes ______________________

JE: You would need an Excedrin and a fabulous dress to keep up with them!

FG: Stilettos are like _________________ everyone _______________________

JE: Manhattan, everyone wants to visit but to live there you have to work it and own it!
