FG: How would you describe your personal style?

CB: I would have to say Mad Max meets Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Audrey Hepburn in the Thunderdome. I’ll be the first to admit I probably wear too much black leather and studs, but I like to juxtapose that look with other more classically feminine textures and fabrics.
FG: Name 5 items every woman should have in her closet.
CB: A big pair of heels [I mean big], black leather boots, something sheer and made of chiffon, a black leather jacket and at least one amazing vintage piece [for me it's my YSL pumps].
Fg: Who is your fashion icon and why?
CB: I have quite a lot. Lately I’ve been wearing a lot of lace and rosaries, so I guess I’m currently channeling Like a Prayer-Era Madonna [duh]. But I also like Courtney Love, Chloe Sevigny, and Daryl Hannah in Blade Runner. A lot of vintage inspiration there.
FG: What fashion trend is your least favorite?
CB: Off the top of my head, I would have to say Uggs. I’m sure they’re really warm and nice, but I’ve lived in Miami my whole life so I don’t really get them.
FG: What the weirdest item in your wardrobe?
CB: I have a pretty killer vintage studded bra that gets some looks. It’s pretty normal to me, but it probably isn’t something most people would wear to the supermarket.
FG: What is your style philosophy?
CB: Go hard or go home. I like to get dressed up and I like to look good, all the time no matter where I’m going. Always big shoes. Sometimes my feet hurt, but I think it’s worth it.
