FG: How would you describe your personal style?

MP: Whimsical and Avant-Garde! I love anything and everything girly including florals, tulle, and especially vintage styles. But at the same time I definitely have my rocker chick side with moto jackets, chain and stud details and lots of leather! I love mixing the two looks together to create my own signature look.

FG: Name 5 items every woman should have in her closet.

MP: White Button Down Shirt, pair of dark jeans, LBD (Little Black Dress), quality knit t-shirt, and an everyday handbag.

FG: Who is your fashion icon and why?

MP: It’s a tie between the Hepburns! I love the style of both whether it’s Katherine’s menswear look or Audrey’s simple chic LBD. Both are the ultimate classics in style!

FG: What fashion trend is your least favorite?

MP: CLOGS! They don’t look good on anyone! A pump is great because it lengthens your legs, but clogs cut you off at the ankle, which is not a good look for anyone.

FG: What the weirdest item in your wardrobe?

MP: I have this vintage hat that’s a black pillbox shape, but then it has these felt leaf shaped pieces that stick up in the back. Most people think it’s odd, but I don’t care I love it!

FG: What is your style philosophy?

MP: First and foremost it’s all about having confidence! You have to know who you are and never apologize for it! When it comes to style I think it’s crucial to have your own signature look. You can draw inspiration from other people, but copying a celebrity is not a personal style and it won’t really express YOU! Just figure out what you like, what works on your body type (SO important!) and run with it!
