Producer, Ashia R. Sims, MBA
A native of Chicago who grew up in Atlanta, Ashia R. Sims has always dreamed of working in corporate America.  After college, she discovered that her independent spirit wasn’t an ideal fit for corporate America and a much better fit for the world of entertainment. She started an artist management and consulting firm, Renea Solomon Group with a friend. For five years, they consulted with up and coming recording artists.  She stumbled into the field of television/film production while doing PR consulting work.  She instantly fell in love with this aspect of entertainment.  She looked for many opportunities to explore this new interest and was able to lend her excitement and expertise to projects like Quarterlife Ben, Drumroll, American Idol Seasons 7 and 9, Hell Date Season 2 and a television series, Past Life.  In that time, she created and is now the Chief Content Manager of Clueless Fashionista, a style blog. Now she is delving into the world of production for the web with Friday Girl TV.

She is following the advice of someone who told her, “If you want to be a Producer, produce.”   So she is.
