All Hail this week’s Shoe Queen, Cole Imperi, who is the majority owner of Imperi Partners, LLC and Director of the non-profit organization, Golden Shoes. Golden Shoes, is an organization designed to provide support for women with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, and the inspiration for the start of the organization can be linked to a pair of very well worn stilettos.
FG: Who is the designer of your shoe and where did you purchase your shoes?
IC: These shoes are from Target—a purchase I made when I was still in college.
FG: Is there a story behind them (why did you purchase them)?
IC: I am the majority owner of Imperi Partners, LLC and Director of Golden Shoes. Golden Shoes is an organization I founded to provide support for women with PCOS and I can thank the beat-up stilettos in the attached photograph for Golden Shoes’ name. When I was sick, struggling to find the right treatment for my PCOS, all I wanted to do was fit back into my favorite clothes. Namely, these gold pumps. For a lot of women, it’s a pair of skinny jeans or a little black dress. For me, when I feel my best, I wear these shoes. These shoes are OLD. I wore them on my wedding day, when I graduated from college, and I wear them on important milestone occasions in my life. I don’t care how beat up they are–they’ve taken me places and I’m proud to show that off! Imperi Partners, LLC houses Doth Brands, a graphic design, web development and marketing agency and Remarkable Marketing Card, a fully-customizable promotional item, among other ventures. Imperi Partners and its subsidiaries is a woman-owned business.
