We have been looking for a great cause to support for the holidays and although the causes are a plenty, we were having a hard time finding one that would resonate with us. The other day, we came across a blog post on Blush & Bashful about a cosmetics company, Just Glam Cosmetics that is doing something wonderful in California. The owner of the company, Nicole Caldwell has been visiting the ladies of the Contra Costa County Juvenile Detention Center in Martinez, CA. She’s been speaking with them about wonderful lady like things like proper etiquette and how to apply makeup.

After reading an article in Essence magazine about the sex trade industry and it’s affect on the Oakland, CA area, Nicole was inspired to help. She decided to put together an event for the ladies of the Contra Costa County Juvenile Detention Center called “a day of Christmas”. She has gathered a group of makeup artists and stylists who are volunteering their time to create a beauty day for these women but she needs your help. She needs donations to help make this event wonderful. Below is a list of the items she needs and the address to send them to:
