Kelly partnered with Nott Entertainment (The Quick and the Undead) to write and produce the original comedy web series, The Granada Hills. Motivated by the growth of online video consumption, Kelly noticed there were few stories about women and was inspired to create a show for women, starring a female cast. Kelly was formerly a writer for Governor Schwarzenegger. She has a degree in journalism from CSU, Northridge and previously attended UCLA’s Professional screenwriting program.

“The Punanny Diaries” was created by a group of film school friends who took a new approach to getting their voices heard. Instead of waiting for the traditional, industry “greenlight”, Punanny producers decided to use their talents and work collectively on their own project.
Lisa Robinson, Phill Branch, Sunny Fuller and Yolanda Buggs are graduates of the American Film Institute. As AFI fellows, the group formed a valuable bond that has helped advance their creative efforts. Benita Nall, Peter Ward and Reggie Coleman round out the producing team. In addition to the AFI, the producers have a strong HBCU connection; with Spelman, Hampton, Howard and Tennessee State being among their alma maters.
Why celibacy? Because after watching daytime shows filled with paternity and lie detector tests, a show about “slowing down” seemed like a good idea. Actually, that’s not totally true. One of the producers went celibate and in true Hollywood form they decided to make a show about it. What are friends for if you can’t exploit their personal ups and downs?
